Getting Started

Superwoman is a cycle-synced calendar designed specifically for ambitious women who want to optimize their productivity while protecting their long-term health. It's built for female entrepreneurs, founders, and executives (ages 28-38) who already use productivity tools like Google Calendar and period trackers like Flo or Clue, but want to integrate cycle awareness into their work planning. Unlike traditional period trackers that focus on fertility or health warnings, Superwoman leads with productivity optimization—helping you schedule your most important work during your peak energy phases.

You can join our early access program by signing up on our homepage. Simply enter your email to join the waitlist. Early access users will be invited in batches starting Q2 2026 and will get exclusive benefits including lifetime discounts, the ability to shape the product roadmap, and priority support.

To use Superwoman, you'll need: (1) A Google Calendar account with your existing schedule, (2) Historical period data from your last 2-3 cycles (approximate dates are fine), and (3) A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). That's it! The app works as an intelligent overlay on your existing calendar—you don't need to abandon any tools you're already using.

Onboarding takes about 5 minutes. First, you'll create your account and log the start dates of your last 2-3 periods so we can learn your cycle pattern. Then, you'll connect your Google Calendar via a secure OAuth flow. Once connected, Superwoman immediately begins analyzing your schedule against your predicted cycle phases. You'll see your calendar with a cycle phase overlay, and the app will start suggesting optimizations. The more data you provide, the more accurate predictions become.

While Superwoman is designed to work best with Google Calendar integration, you can still track your cycle and get phase predictions without connecting a calendar. However, you'll miss out on key features like schedule conflict detection, proactive event rescheduling suggestions, and the Morning Dashboard that analyzes your day's schedule. We built Superwoman as an overlay tool specifically because most ambitious women already have their lives organized in Google Calendar.

Superwoman is launching Q2 2026. Early access users on the waitlist will be invited in batches starting in April 2026. Join the waitlist now to be among the first to access the platform, help shape the product, and lock in special pricing.

Early access includes: Full access to all MVP features (period tracking, cycle predictions, Google Calendar sync, event categorization, Morning Dashboard, and schedule suggestions), priority support via email, the ability to request features and influence the roadmap, lifetime discount on subscription pricing, and early access to new features as they're released. You'll also be invited to exclusive community calls with the founder and other early users.

Cycle Tracking & Predictions

Superwoman uses a pattern-learning algorithm that analyzes your historical period data. When you log the start dates of your last 2-3 periods, the app calculates your average cycle length and uses that to predict future phases. We divide your cycle into four science-backed phases: Menstrual (days 1-5), Follicular (days 6-13), Ovulation (days 14-17), and Luteal (days 18-28). If your cycle is shorter or longer than 28 days, we scale these phases proportionally while maintaining the hormonal pattern. As you log more periods over time, predictions become increasingly accurate and personalized to your unique rhythm.

Yes! Superwoman is designed to adapt to irregular cycles. Instead of assuming a perfect 28-day pattern, we calculate the median cycle length from your historical data (which is robust against outliers) and provide confidence scores with each prediction. For example, you might see "90% confident your luteal phase will be Jan 20-27" or "70% confident" for less predictable cycles. The app continuously learns from each new period you log and adjusts future predictions accordingly. Even with irregular cycles, you'll gain valuable insights about your energy patterns over time.

Prediction accuracy depends on how much data we have and how consistent your cycle is. With 3+ cycles logged, predictions are typically accurate within 1-2 days for regular cycles (70-90% confidence). For irregular cycles, confidence scores may be lower (50-70%), but predictions still provide useful guidance. We always show confidence levels alongside predictions so you can make informed decisions. The more periods you log, the smarter the algorithm becomes at understanding your unique patterns—including seasonal variations and stress-related changes.

We recommend providing at least 2-3 recent period start dates to get started. This gives us enough data to calculate your average cycle length and make initial predictions. However, the more historical data you provide (up to 6-12 months), the more accurate your predictions will be. If you've been tracking your period in Flo, Clue, or another app, you can reference that data during onboarding. Don't worry about being perfectly precise—approximate dates work fine.

Yes! While Superwoman learns your patterns automatically, you can always manually override predictions if you know they're inaccurate. For example, if you know your luteal phase is starting early due to stress or travel, you can adjust it in the app. These manual adjustments help the algorithm learn even faster. You can also log symptoms, energy levels, and notes on specific days to help refine future predictions.

The four phases correspond to your natural hormonal fluctuations:

**Menstrual Phase (Days 1-5):** Low energy, introspective. Best for rest, light admin work, and avoiding high-stakes decisions. Your body is shedding the uterine lining—honor this by protecting your energy.

**Follicular Phase (Days 6-13):** Rising energy, creativity, and focus. Best for starting new projects, pitching ideas, learning new skills, and strategic planning. Estrogen is climbing—leverage this peak.

**Ovulation Phase (Days 14-17):** Peak energy, confidence, and communication skills. Best for presentations, negotiations, launches, networking, and high-stakes meetings. This is your superpower window.

**Luteal Phase (Days 18-28):** Declining energy, detail-oriented, reflective. Best for deep work, editing, completing projects, and wrapping up loose ends. As progesterone rises and then drops, your body prepares for menstruation—schedule accordingly.

Every time you log a new period, Superwoman recalculates your cycle patterns using all your historical data. We use a rolling median (not average) to calculate cycle length, which makes predictions robust against occasional outliers like stress, travel, or illness. Over time, the algorithm identifies your personal patterns—like whether your follicular phase tends to be longer or shorter, or if your luteal phase energy dip happens earlier than typical. This personalization happens automatically in the background; you just keep logging your periods.

If you skip a period or experience irregularities, simply log what actually happens. Superwoman will recalibrate predictions based on the new data. If you miss logging a period, you can add it retroactively at any time. The app is designed to handle real life—pregnancy, menopause transitions, hormonal birth control changes, and health conditions are all part of the experience. If major changes occur (like starting or stopping birth control), you can reset your baseline data and start fresh.

Google Calendar Integration

Superwoman connects to your Google Calendar using secure OAuth 2.0 authentication (the same technology Google uses for trusted third-party apps). When you connect, you'll be redirected to Google's official login page where you grant Superwoman read-only access to your calendar events. We never see your Google password. Once connected, Superwoman syncs your events every 15-30 minutes and displays them alongside your cycle phase overlay. This allows the app to analyze your schedule and suggest optimizations like "Move your investor pitch from luteal phase to follicular phase for better energy alignment."

Superwoman requests these specific Google Calendar permissions: (1) Read-only access to your calendar events (titles, dates, times, descriptions), (2) Access to your email address and basic profile info for account identification, and (3) The ability to see which calendars you have (e.g., Work, Personal, etc.). We do NOT request permission to create, edit, or delete calendar events in the MVP version. You maintain full control of your calendar—we only read and analyze, we never modify without your explicit action.

Currently, Superwoman operates in read-only mode—we analyze your existing calendar but don't automatically modify events. When the app suggests rescheduling a meeting (e.g., "Move this pitch to follicular phase"), you'll need to make that change manually in Google Calendar. However, write-back functionality is on our roadmap for Phase 2. This will allow you to accept suggestions with one click and have Superwoman automatically reschedule events in your Google Calendar.

Superwoman syncs with Google Calendar automatically every 15-30 minutes to ensure your schedule is always up to date. When you open the app, it also triggers an immediate sync so you always see your current schedule. We cache events locally to improve performance, but you can manually trigger a refresh sync at any time by pulling to refresh or clicking the sync button in the dashboard.

Absolutely. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings. When you disconnect, Superwoman will stop syncing events and delete all cached calendar data from our servers. You'll still be able to use cycle tracking and predictions, but you'll lose features that depend on calendar analysis (like schedule conflict detection and the Morning Dashboard). You can also reconnect at any time to restore full functionality.

If you cancel your subscription, your calendar data is immediately deleted from our servers. We do not retain any Google Calendar event information after you cancel. Your cycle tracking data (period logs and predictions) will be preserved for 90 days in case you decide to reactivate, after which it will be permanently deleted. You can also request immediate deletion of all data at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@superwoman.so.

Currently, Superwoman only supports Google Calendar integration in the MVP. However, Outlook Calendar and Apple Calendar support are both on our Phase 3 roadmap. If you use one of these calendars and would like to see support added sooner, please let us know—we prioritize features based on user demand. In the meantime, many users sync their Outlook or Apple calendars to Google Calendar as a workaround.

Privacy & Data Security

Superwoman collects only the data necessary to provide the service: (1) Account information (email, name, timezone, preferences), (2) Period tracking data (period start/end dates, cycle lengths, manually logged symptoms), (3) Google Calendar events (titles, descriptions, dates, times, attendees—synced temporarily for analysis), and (4) User interactions (which suggestions you accept or dismiss, category overrides, settings changes). We do NOT collect location data, browsing history outside the app, or any data from other apps on your device. All data collection is transparent and explained during onboarding.

Your data security is our top priority. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 (the same encryption banks use). Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption in our PostgreSQL database hosted on secure, SOC 2 compliant servers. Google Calendar tokens are stored encrypted and are never logged or exposed. We use industry-standard security practices including: Regular security audits, Automated vulnerability scanning, Role-based access controls (only essential team members can access production data), and Two-factor authentication for all admin accounts. We also never log or store your Google password—authentication happens entirely through Google's OAuth system.

Yes. Your Google Calendar OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. When we sync calendar events, the data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and cached temporarily in our encrypted database. Calendar event data is never written to logs, never shared with third parties, and is immediately deleted when you disconnect your calendar or cancel your account. We treat your calendar data with the same level of security as financial institutions treat banking data.

Yes! You have full control over your data at all times. From your account settings, you can: (1) Export all your data (period logs, cycle predictions, preferences) as a downloadable JSON or CSV file, (2) Request immediate deletion of all data (we comply within 48 hours), (3) Download a copy of all data we have stored about you (GDPR right to data portability). If you delete your account, all data—including calendar sync history—is permanently deleted within 30 days and cannot be recovered. We also provide an audit log showing exactly when your data was accessed or modified.

Yes. Superwoman is fully GDPR compliant. We provide: Right to access (download all your data), Right to deletion (delete your account and all data), Right to portability (export data in standard formats), Right to rectification (correct inaccurate data), Right to restriction (limit how we process data), Transparent privacy policy (plain language, no legal jargon), Consent management (you can withdraw consent at any time), and Data processing agreements for EU users. We also designate a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and comply with all EU data residency requirements.

Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Period. The only third parties who access your data are: (1) Our hosting provider (for secure server infrastructure), (2) Our email service (for sending transactional emails like password resets—never marketing), and (3) Our payment processor (Stripe—they never see your cycle or calendar data). All third-party services are SOC 2 compliant, GDPR-compliant, and bound by strict data processing agreements. We will never use your data to train AI models, sell insights to advertisers, or share aggregated data without explicit consent.

Your data is stored on secure PostgreSQL databases hosted in SOC 2 compliant data centers (currently US-based, with EU data residency coming in 2026). Only essential team members (founders and senior engineers) have access to production data, and all access is logged and audited. No one can access your data without a legitimate business reason (e.g., customer support request, security investigation). We use role-based access controls, require two-factor authentication for all admin accounts, and conduct regular security training. Customer support staff can only see anonymized data unless you explicitly grant permission for debugging.

While we implement extensive security measures to prevent breaches, we have a comprehensive incident response plan: (1) Immediate containment (isolate affected systems within 1 hour), (2) User notification (email all affected users within 72 hours as required by GDPR), (3) Transparent disclosure (publish a detailed breach report explaining what happened, what data was affected, and what we're doing to prevent future incidents), (4) Free credit monitoring for affected users if financial data was involved, and (5) Third-party security audit and remediation. We also maintain cyber insurance to cover potential damages. Your trust is everything to us—we take security seriously.

Features & How It Works

The Morning Dashboard is your daily ritual for cycle-aware planning. When you open Superwoman each morning, you see: (1) Your current cycle day and phase (e.g., "Day 14 - Follicular Phase"), (2) Today's predicted energy level (High/Medium/Low based on your cycle), (3) A schedule analysis showing which events align well with your current phase and which might be challenging, and (4) One actionable insight or suggestion (e.g., "Great day for your investor pitch at 2pm—your energy is peaking!"). Think of it as your personal productivity coach that understands your body's rhythms. The dashboard helps you set realistic expectations for the day and adjust your approach accordingly.

Superwoman automatically categorizes your calendar events based on keyword matching in titles and descriptions. We look for patterns like: **High-stakes** (pitch, investor, presentation, demo, launch, interview, keynote), **Deep work** (writing, coding, design, strategy, planning, research), **Meetings** (meeting, call, sync, standup, discussion), and **Admin** (email, admin, paperwork, organize, review). The app uses these categories to determine which events are most important to align with peak energy phases. You can manually override any categorization, and the app learns from your corrections to improve future categorizations.

Schedule suggestions are Superwoman's core value proposition—proactive intervention to prevent cycle-schedule misalignment. The app continuously analyzes your upcoming calendar against cycle predictions and flags potential conflicts like: "⚠️ You have 3 high-stakes meetings scheduled during your low-energy week (Jan 20-24)" or "💡 Consider moving the Jan 22 investor pitch to Jan 10 (follicular phase) for better energy alignment." You can accept, dismiss, or snooze suggestions. Accepted suggestions are added to a "suggested changes" list you can act on manually (or automatically if you enable write-back in the future). The goal is to be helpful without being annoying—you're always in control.

Yes! Click any event to manually change its category. For example, if Superwoman categorizes "Coffee with Sarah" as a Meeting but you know it's actually a high-stakes investor conversation, you can change it to High-stakes. The app remembers your correction and will categorize similar events correctly in the future. This feedback loop makes the categorization smarter over time, personalized to how YOU define different types of work.

The Monthly Planning View shows your entire month with all four cycle phases color-coded on the calendar. You can see at a glance which weeks will be high-energy (follicular/ovulation) and which will be low-energy (menstrual/luteal). This helps you plan strategically: Schedule launches, pitches, and important meetings during peak phases. Block off admin time and deep work during lower-energy phases. Set monthly goals and assign them to optimal weeks. The view also shows your predicted energy curve across the month, helping you pace yourself and avoid overcommitting during challenging weeks.

Yes! You can opt in to notifications for: Morning Dashboard reminder (daily nudge to check your dashboard and plan your day), Schedule conflict alerts (when high-stakes events are scheduled during low-energy phases), Period predictions (3-day advance warning when your next period is predicted to start), and Suggestion reminders (gentle nudges to act on pending schedule suggestions). All notifications are optional and fully customizable—you can turn them off entirely or choose only the ones you find helpful. We prioritize quality over quantity; you'll never get spammy notifications.

If you're having trouble connecting Google Calendar, try these steps: (1) Make sure you're logged into the correct Google account, (2) Check that you granted all requested permissions during OAuth (you may need to disconnect and reconnect), (3) Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reconnecting, (4) Disable browser extensions that might block OAuth (like ad blockers or privacy extensions), (5) Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browser settings. If none of these work, email support@superwoman.so with a screenshot of the error message and we'll help troubleshoot.

We love feedback! To report a bug: Email support@superwoman.so with a description of the issue, steps to reproduce, what browser/device you're using, and any screenshots. To request a feature: Email support@superwoman.so with a detailed description of what you'd like to see and why it would be valuable. Early access users can also join our community Slack/Discord (invite sent after onboarding) to discuss ideas directly with the founder and other users. We prioritize feature requests based on user demand and strategic fit.

We offer multiple support channels: **Email Support** (support@superwoman.so - we respond within 24 hours, usually much faster), **Help Center** (comprehensive guides and FAQs at help.superwoman.app), **Community** (Slack/Discord for early access users to ask questions and share tips), **Live Chat** (Pro users get access to in-app chat support during business hours), and **Video Tutorials** (YouTube channel with onboarding guides and feature walkthroughs). Pro users and early access members receive priority support with faster response times.
